Special Auxiliary Police Recruitment: 565

 The Special Auxiliary Police (SAP) is set to recruit 565 retired soldiers. The police headquarters has released an official advertisement for these positions. According to the advertisement, ex-servicemen will be hired on a contractual basis for various roles within the SAP.

The recruitment will take place for SAP One in Tatisilwai and SAP Two in Jamshedpur. Currently, the term for both units has been extended until May 31, 2027. Interested retired soldiers can attend the interviews, which will be held at JAP One in Doranda, Ranchi, on August 27, 28, and 29.

The SAP personnel play a crucial role in maintaining law and order in the state, accelerating anti-Naxal operations, and fulfilling other security-related duties. They are also utilized for securing state prisons, protecting industrial establishments, and providing adequate armed forces at police stations.
